Warranty
Always check the warranty on any computer / laptop before you buy, typical questions to ask include:
- How long is the warranty?
- What's included in the purchase price of the computer?
- What does it cover? Parts & Labour? Parts only?
- Does the warranty include on-site support at your home?
- Do you have to package and send the computer / laptop back to the retailer / supplier, this is sometimes referred to as RTB (Return to Base) if so then who pays for this?
- Can the warranty be extended? If so, how much does this cost?
- Can the warranty be transferred if I sell the computer?
